  1. Theoretical, computational, and experimental plasticity;

  2. Theoretical and computational study of constrained systems;

  3. Applications of hypercomplex (Clifford) analysis in anisotropic-coupled mechanics.

Now he focuses on:

  1. Experimental, theoretical, and computational study in multiscale plasticity;

  2. Coupled mechanics of anisotropic and isotropic materials;

  3. Mechanics of soft biological tissue;

  4. Mechanics of bio-inspired structural materials​.
